How to Update from Lite to Pro Version of the DotStore Plugins?

DotStore has numerous free WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, which could be upgraded to Premium versions when the user wants. The premium (or ‘Pro’) version of the same plugin has more capabilities and features than its free or ‘Lite’ version. In general, such plugins are called freemium plugins.

If you are using one of the Lite plugins we’ve built and want to update from Lite to Pro version for that plugin, the task is simple. In this document, we are going to tell you about how to do so.
First of all, open your website or shop’s WordPress admin dashboard and click on the name of the plugin you want to update.
Your dashboard will look similar to this screenshot –

Now, see on the right side of the inner section of your dashboard, you must be able to find out the ‘Upgrade to the Premium Plugin’ button (as highlighted in the above image) and the support button there. The ‘Support’ button is to let the plugin users reach out to our support team, in case there’s any issue or problem. However, for now, you need to click on the ‘Upgrade’ button.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the Plugins page in your WordPress website’s admin dashboard. There appears a list of all plugins, installed on your website or shop at present, as –

Find out the name of the plugin, which you want to upgrade, on the list. Below the name, there must be an option to ‘Upgrade’, which you need to click.
Both the explained ways will pave your ways towards this page –

Choose your plan and duration of the package.
DotStore generally lets you buy single-site, 5-sites and unlimited sites licenses for a year or forever. Make choices wisely and choose the right options, as per your requirements.
Click on the Upgrade Now button to proceed towards making the payment. It will open a pop-up for you now –

DotStore has a secure way of making transactions as the organization has partnered with Freemius for the payments. Additionally, it has earned McAfee Secure, PayPal Verified, and Comodo Secure badges too. So, your payment will reach the right hands without any fraud happening in the process.
Choose the payment method, fill the credentials & details as asked and click on ‘Review Order’. If all looks fine to you on the next page, proceed towards making the plugin. This marks the successful completion of the process. Hence, your Lite version of the selected DotStore plugin is converted to the Pro version installation. You can enjoy the benefits of upgraded capabilities of the plugin now.
Also, to maintain the transparency, DotStore sends you an invoice for the purchase you’ve made. That’s how it looks –
