How to hide the proceed to checkout button
You can automatically hide the "Proceed to Checkout" button to enhance your store's purchasing requirements when customers do not meet specific quantity or value rules.
Follow these steps to configure this setting:
- Go to the Settings page in your plugin dashboard.
- Click on the General tab or section.
- Locate the Hide Checkout Button option.
- Enable the toggle switch to activate this feature.
- Save your settings.
Note: This feature applies only to global checkout rules, meaning the checkout button will only be hidden when the cart fails to meet any active global rules for quantity or value for checkout.
Examples of Use Cases:
Minimum Order Quantity Enforcement: If you require customers to purchase at least 5 items, enabling this setting will prevent them from proceeding to checkout if they only have 4 items in their cart. This ensures that customers are aware of the quantity requirements before they can complete their orders.
Cart Value Requirements: For stores that require an order over a certain value (e.g., $50), you can hide the checkout button if the cart value does not meet this threshold. This encourages customers to add more items to their cart, increasing overall sales.
