How to add fee based on the specific duration

In some cases, you may want to add an extra charge on your website for a specific duration or time. This is possible by using the Start Date, End Date, Days of the week, and Time options available in our plugin.

Start Date and End Date:

To set a specific duration for a fee, you can select both the Start Date and End Date in the plugin settings.

Let's say you want to add an extra charge for the holiday season from December 1st to December 31st. In this case, you can set the Start Date as December 1st and the End Date as December 31st in the plugin. This way, the fee will only be available during this specific duration.

Days of the week:

You can also choose specific days of the week when you want the fee to be available.

For example, if you want to offer fast shipping with an extra charge on weekdays, you can select Monday to Friday as the Days of the week in the plugin settings. This way, the fee will only be available on these days.

Time:

In addition to selecting specific days of the week, you can also choose a specific time duration for the fee.

Let's say you want to charge extra for same-day delivery from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. In this case, you can set the Day(s) of the week as Monday to Friday and the Time as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the plugin. This way, the same-day delivery charge will only be available during this specific time on weekdays.

Here are a few more examples where you can use duration options for extra charges: Night charges, special day delivery charges, festival greetings charges, weekend charges, etc.
