Master Settings

There are a few times when your buyers’ cart has more than one shipping method applied to it. 

In such cases, you might want to apply all or one shipping method as per the optimality. Master settings help you with that. You can find the master settings section on the main plugin page itself. It is present just below the list of shipping methods you’ve added to the date.

Force all shipping method

There are 4 ways you can resolve the conflict of multiple shipping methods -

  1. Minimum shipping charges - "Apply Smallest"
  2. Maximum shipping charges - "Apply Highest"
  3. Let your customer choose an optimal shipping method to be applied to the cart. - "Allow Customer to Choose"
  4. Force all the shipping methods on the plugin
Using master settings, it can be done easily. You just have to choose your preference and save the settings.
1. Minimum shipping charges - Apply Smallest
When multiple shipping methods are enabled on the cart page and if the store owner wants to charge the lowest value out of all shipping methods applicable on the cart page then this feature is used.

2. Maximum shipping charges - Apply Highest
We have specially added these features when multiple shipping methods are enabled on the cart page. At that time if the store owner wants to charge the highest value out of all shipping methods applicable on the cart page then this feature is used.

3. Let your customer choose an optimal shipping method to be applied to the cart. - Allow Customer to Choose
When multiple shipping methods are enabled on the cart page and if the store owner wants to offer all shipping methods to choose from on the cart page then this feature is used.

4.  Force all the shipping methods on the plugin
When multiple shipping methods are enabled on the cart page and If the store owner wants to charge the sum of all applicable shipping method’s charges on the cart page then this feature is used. Now,  you can add custom Force all Label. Which is displayed on the cart page.

[ New ] Force-all Shipping method compatible with Default WooCommerce shipping

In Before Advanced Flat Rate Shipping plugin version 3.6, you can apply force-all shipping for only dotstore Advanced Flat Rate Shipping plugin. Now you can apply force-all shipping in Default WooCommerce and Our plugin's shipping method

There are below option:
  1. Combine both shipping methods. (Default WooCommerce and Our plugin's shipping method.)
  2. Separate shipping method (only combine our plugin's shipping method.)
  3. Combine all shipping

Let me explain in detail with an example:

  1. Combine both shipping methods. (Default WooCommerce and Our plugin's shipping method.)

      Ex: Let's say you have created Local pickup shipping in default WooCommercs setting. After that, you have created two shipping methods in  Ad. Flat Rate Shipping Method plugins country based: ₹39.00  and First Shipping: ₹20.00

  • Local pickup shipping: $2

Ad. Flat Rate Shipping Method plugins

  • Country Based: ₹39.00
  • First Shipping: ₹20.00

Step 1: Create a shipping method in the Default WooCommercs shipping method

Step 2: Create a shipping method in the Ad. Flat Rate Shipping Method plugins

  • Country Based: ₹39.00
  • First Shipping: ₹20.00

After that, you can select the Master setting >> Combine both shipping methods. (Default WooCommerce and Our plugin's shipping method.)

Shipping Display Mode

The plugin provides you with an interface in the Master setting section where you can set shipping display mode. As you know WooCommerce has removed choose shipping display mode option from the 2.5.1 version. So, this plugin provides these features, admin can choose shipping display modes like the "radio option" or "select option" for shipping display mode.

So, this setting provides these features, the store owner can choose shipping display modes.

  • Display shipping methods with Radio buttons OR Dropdown on the checkout page.
