Managing and editing extra fees
The WooCommerce Extra Fees Plugin allows you to easily manage and modify extra fees to match your business needs. Whether you want to update fee amounts, change conditions, or enable/disable fees, you can do it effortlessly from the Dotstore > Manage Fees section.
You can manage it in the following ways:
Editing an Extra Fee
If you have already created fees and want to change anything like the title, fee amount, or rules, you have the option to hover any fee and click on the edit link.
🔹 Tip: Always test the checkout page after making changes to ensure the fee is applied correctly.
Deleting an Extra Fee
If any fee that does not need any more, it's easy to delete or disable it from the list
🚨 Note: Once deleted, the fee cannot be recovered. If you might need it later, consider disabling it instead.
Duplicating an Extra Fee
If you have already fees with seettings and only want to change specific rules with new fees it's easy to duplicate it.
✅ This is useful when you need multiple fees with slight variations, such as different pricing for different locations.
Changing the Status of an Extra Fee
If you don’t want to delete a fee but need to temporarily disable it, this feature will helps you.
💡 Disabling a fee is a great option if you plan to use it again in the future without re-creating it.
