How to set default values, step values, and selector options for quantity input
Easily control the initial quantity value and the increments by which quantities increase or decrease. Choose from user-friendly options like dropdowns, radio buttons, or the default input field to enhance your customers' product selection experience.
If you want to add these settings, follow the steps below:
Go to the Manage Rules page in the plugin settings and click on the Add New button.
Under the Configuration section, set the rule status and name.
- In the Advanced Rules section, you will find options to configure min/max quantity rules based on different conditions such as product-specific, category-specific, country-specific, or more.
In the Advanced Rules > Conditions section, configure conditions based on your requirements.
In the Advanced Rules > Action section, set the minimum and maximum quantity limits, along with the default input value, step quantity, and input selector.
Examples of Use Cases:
Product Bundles: If you're selling bundled products, you can set a default quantity of 3 with a step increment of 1. This encourages customers to buy more by simplifying their selection process.
Limited Edition Items: For a limited-edition release, you might set a minimum quantity of 1 and a maximum of 5, using a dropdown selector. This way, customers can quickly choose how many of the exclusive items they wish to purchase.
Wholesale Purchases: In a wholesale setting, set a minimum order quantity of 10 with a step increment of 5. Customers can select quantities that match their business needs easily, enhancing the purchasing experience.
