How do I move my license key to another domain?

If you need to transfer your Dotstore plugin license key from one domain to another, follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Log in to your Dotstore account and copy the license

Visit the Freemius Dashboard.
Log in with your account credentials.
Navigate to the "My Licenses" section.
Find the license key associated with the current domain.

Step 2: Deactivate the License on the Old Domain

Go to your current domain where the license is active.
Log in to the WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
Locate the plugin using the license key and click Deactivate.

This will free up the license for use on the new domain.

Step 3: Add the License to the New Domain

Install and activate the same plugin on the new domain.
Go to the Settings or License section in the plugin settings.
Enter the existing license key and click Activate.

Note: At a times, deactivating a license on an old domain may require some time, and you may encounter an error indicating that the plugin is already activated or that the license quota has been utilized.

Step 4: Verify the license and import the plugin settings

Once activated, you will see a confirmation message that the license is now active on the new domain. Verify all the plugin settings are configured properly and everything working fine.

If you have already configured the settings on the old site then, you can use the import-export feature to quickly import all the settings to the new site.
