How to set up an expiry time for a quote?

Setting up an expiry time for quotes can be a good strategy to drive sales. Expiring offers often spur customers into action, creating a sense of urgency that motivates them to act swiftly.

With our plugin, you have the flexibility to establish an expiry time for the quotes you send. This ensures that customers must take action, such as accepting or rejecting the quote, before it expires.

To set up an expiry time for quotes, follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the "Quote Settings" page located under the "Global Settings" menu.

  2. Enable the "Set Expiry Time" option.
  3. Specify the time interval for expiring quotes by configuring the "Expire After" option. Enter a numerical value. For example, setting the value to "3" will result in quotes expiring three days after being sent to the customer.
  4. Save your changes.

Please note that once a quote expires, customers will no longer be able to take any further actions, such as accepting, rejecting, or placing an order based on that quote request.

Remember, setting an expiry time adds a sense of urgency, encouraging customers to act promptly and making the most of your offers.
