How to add shipping method based on the specific duration

In some cases, you may want to offer a shipping method on your website for a specific duration or time. This is possible by using the Start Date, End Date, Day(s) of the week, and Time options available in our plugin.

Start Date and End Date:

To set a specific duration for a shipping method, you can select both the Start Date and End Date in the plugin settings.

Let's say you want to offer a flat rate shipping method for the holiday season from December 1st to December 31st. In this case, you can set the Start Date as December 1st and the End Date as December 31st in the shipping plugin. This way, the shipping method will only be available during this specific duration.

Days of the week:

You can also choose specific days of the week when you want the shipping method to be available.

For example, if you want to offer a fast shipping method with an extra charge on weekdays, you can select Monday to Friday as the Days of the week in the plugin settings. This way, the shipping method will only be available on these days.

Time:

In addition to selecting specific days of the week, you can also choose a specific time duration for the shipping method.

Let's say you want to offer a same-day delivery shipping method from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. In this case, you can set the Day(s) of the week as Monday to Friday and the Time as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the shipping plugin. This way, the same-day delivery shipping method will only be available during this specific time on weekdays.
