How to apply quantity rules within a specific time frame

You can enforce quantity restrictions during specific time windows, such as during seasonal sales, flash sales, or special promotions. This allows you to activate specific product quantity limits only when necessary, maximizing the effectiveness of time-sensitive offers and boosting sales during key periods.

How to Set Time-Based Rules:

  1. Go to the "Manage Rules" page in the plugin settings and click on the "Add New" button.
  2. Under the "Configuration" section, set the rule status (active/inactive) and give the rule a name (e.g., "Holiday Sale Rule").
  3. In the "Advanced Rules > Conditions" section:
    • Set the Start Date and Time for when the rule should become active.
    • Set the End Date and Time for when the rule should expire.
    • You can combine these with other conditions (like product-specific, category-specific, etc.) by clicking on the "+ Add Rule" button.

Example Use Cases:

Holiday Promotions: For Black Friday or holiday events, you can create time-based quantity limits on certain high-demand products. For example, you might allow a maximum of 5 units of a limited edition product per customer during the sale period. This encourages urgency and prevents stockpiling, allowing more customers to take advantage of the offer.

Limited-Time Product Launch: If you’re launching a new product and want to limit the initial purchase to a specific quantity during the first week of release, you can create a time-bound rule. For example, allow customers to purchase a maximum of 2 units of the product between October 20th and October 27th, ensuring that stock lasts longer during the launch period.
