You can manage it in the following ways:
Editing a Flat Rate Shipping Method
If you’ve already created shipping methods and want to change anything—like the shipping title, price, conditions, or schedule—you can simply hover over any method and click on the Edit link.
🔹 Tip: Always test the cart/checkout page after making changes to ensure the shipping rate is applied correctly.
Deleting a Flat Rate Shipping Method
If there’s a shipping method you no longer need, it’s easy to delete or disable it from the list.
🚨 Note: Once deleted, the shipping method cannot be recovered. If you might need it again, consider disabling it instead.
Duplicating a Flat Rate Shipping Method
Already have a method set up and just need a slight variation (e.g., different price or region)? You can duplicate the existing one.
✅ This is helpful when you want to create similar shipping methods without starting from scratch.
Changing the Status of a Flat Rate Shipping Method
If you don’t want to delete a shipping method but want to temporarily disable it, just toggle the status.
💡 Disabling is a great way to pause methods during off-seasons or promotions without losing their settings.
Final Check: Verify Changes on Cart/Checkout Page
After making any updates, test your WooCommerce cart or checkout to ensure the shipping method behaves as expected.
By using these management options, you can keep your shipping strategy flexible, organized, and optimized for your store’s growth.
