How to import shipping methods from the exported JSON file

Note: This import and export shipping methods functionality is available from our plugin version 3.6.1.

This feature helps to save time and effort in manually setting up shipping methods on a new website or transferring them from one website to another.

Example:

Let's say you have an online store selling clothes, and you have set up various shipping methods based on different criteria such as weight, subtotals, and products. You want to transfer these shipping methods to a new website you're setting up, and you don't want to spend time manually setting them up again. In such a scenario, the import and export feature comes in handy.

Steps to Import Shipping Methods from Exported JSON File:

Step 1: Click on the Import/Export menu link.

First, you need to navigate to the plugin's dashboard and click on the "Import/Export" menu link.

Step 2: Choose the exported JSON file

Next, click on the "Choose file" button to select the exported JSON file from your computer. Make sure that the file is in the correct format and contains the shipping methods you want to import.

Step 3: Import the file

After selecting the file, click on the "Import" button. The plugin will then read the file and import the shipping methods into the new website. Once the import process is complete, you can see the newly imported shipping methods in the shipping methods list.
