How to create product-specific conditional payments rule

This feature allows you to set rules that enable or disable payment methods based on product-specific conditions.

Steps to Configure a Product-Specific Rule

  1. Set Conditions:

    Create a new rule and define product-related conditions like:

    • Specific Products: Apply rules to selected products.
    • Variable Products: Set rules for product variations.
    • Product Categories: Target specific categories.
    • Product Tags: Use product tags for targeted rules.
    • Product Type: Define rules based on product types (e.g., simple product, variable product, virtual or downloadable product).
    • Product Visibility: Define rules based on product visibility (e.g., shop only, hidden, featured product).
    • Product Quantity: Define rules based on product quantity in the cart.
    • Stock Status: Apply rules based on the product stock status (e.g., in stock, backorders).

  2. Configure Actions:

    Enable or disable payment gateways in the Actions section based on your selected conditions.

  3. Save and Test the Rule:

    Save your rule and test its functionality during checkout.

Restrict payment to Cash on Delivery for products in the “Clearance” category.
