How to Add Advanced Rules to Hide Shipping Methods Based on Product Quantity

Product quantity often plays an important role in deciding which shipping methods should be available to customers.

If your store needs to hide shipping methods based on how many items are added to the cart, Advanced Rules make this easy to manage.

Using the Product Quantity Advanced Rule, you can:

• Select specific products or variable products
• Define minimum and maximum quantity limits
• Hide shipping methods only when those quantity conditions are met

You can add one or multiple quantity rules by clicking the “+ Add Rule” button.

How it works

When a customer adds products to the cart, the plugin checks:

• Which products are present
• Their quantities
• Whether the quantity falls within your defined range

If the conditions match, the selected shipping method is hidden automatically.

Example scenario

A clothing store sells products in different sizes and quantities.

The store owner wants to hide certain shipping methods when customers order large quantities of specific products.

Example setup:

• Product: T-shirts

  • Hide shipping method when quantity is 10 to 30
