Enable Quick Checkout for a specific Product, Category, Tags

If you are willing to enable quick checkout for selective items, select the option ‘ Manually Quick Checkout List for Product/Category/Tag’ in the row ‘Quick Checkout on’.

To do so, you will have to navigate to General Settings > Settings.

Method 1

Enable Quick Checkout for a specific Product, Category, Tags

Now, you can either click on the ‘Click here’ button given next to this option (selected in the previous step) or on the ‘Quick Checkout’ link (present on the top).

Both ways, you will reach the ‘Quick Checkout Page’, where you have 3 sections, namely –

  1. Products
  2. Categories
  3. Tags

In these sections, you can add multiple items using the ‘Add New’ option repetitively.

Once your list is ready, go back to the General Settings tab and save settings.

Now, your configured changes will work for the products, categories, and tags that you’ve added to your custom list.

Here’s the detailed description of how all 3 manual lists for quick checkout work (with examples) -

How to apply the Quick Checkout option for specific Product

When you need to add a quick checkout option on the shop and/or single product page for a product specifically, add that product to this list (under Quick Checkout > Products > Add New) and save settings.

Example

Have you got to enable quick checkout for some of your products, or just one product?

First of all, enable the ‘ Manually Quick Checkout List for Product/Category/Tag’ from General Settings. Now, as told in ‘why is it for’ section for products, go to Add New section and choose the desired product or products.

Add them to your manual digital product list and save settings.

Now, your quick checkout option will appear on the shop and/or product page wherever the selected product(s) are listed. You may remove these products from the manual product list whenever you do not show a quick checkout button for these products.

How to apply the Quick Checkout option for specific Category

When you need to add a quick checkout option on the shop and/or single product page for the products belonging to one or more specific categories, add those categories to this list (under Quick Checkout > Categories > Add New) and save settings.

Example

Let’s say, you have created a new category named ‘Category - Digital’. Now, you have added selected digital products (for those, you want to enable quick checkout) to this list. So, all left for you to do is, enable ‘Manually Quick Checkout List for Product/Category/Tag’ from General Settings and add this category ‘Category - Digital’ in the manual category list –

Save settings and you’ll find that your quick checkout option is working for this category now. Similarly, you can add more than one category to this list too.

How to apply Quick Checkout option for specific Tag

When you need to add a quick checkout option on the shop and/or single product page for the products with specific tag(s), add those tags to this list (under Quick Checkout > Tags > Add New) and save settings.

Example

What will you do if your digital products, for those you want to enable quick checkout, are spread across different categories?

Adding each product to the manual list separately is not a feasible solution, because whenever a small change, you will have to edit the product list. What to do? Use tags.

How to apply Quick Checkout option for specific Tag

Group your products under some tags and add those tags in the manual tag list. Before that, do not forget to enable the ‘Manually Quick Checkout List for Product/Category/Tag’ in the general settings.

Now, when you won’t need to use this setting for a few products grouped under a tag, remove the tag from this custom list and it’ll be done.

In the case you want to disable this setting for a few products under some tag, remove the added tag from those products.

This way, tags will simplify things for you.
