How to block a specific zone or area
Blocking high-risk or non-serviceable areas helps store owners reduce fraud, minimize shipping issues, and save operational costs.
WooCommerce with the Fraud Prevention plugin allows you to block specific zones or areas during checkout.
With this feature, you can:
- Prevent customers from placing orders if they are in restricted zones. (Plugin feature: Zone Validation)
- Stop fraud attempts from risky regions or areas you cannot deliver to.
- Display clear error messages at checkout to inform buyers why the order cannot proceed.

- Protects business reputation by avoiding failed deliveries.
Expected Outcome

At checkout, they will see an error message:
“Orders from your location are not accepted.”
- The order will not be processed.
- Store owners gain peace of mind knowing high-risk areas are fully restricted.
