How to notify the admin instantly about high-risk orders
Fraudulent orders often happen fast, and by the time you notice them, it might already be too late.
With the Fraud Prevention plugin, you can set up automatic email alerts so that admins are notified the moment a risky order comes in.
This feature allows you to define a Risk Score threshold (e.g., 70 or higher). Any order that reaches or exceeds this score will trigger an instant email alert to designated recipients. (Plugin feature: Real-Time Order Alerts)
This ensures admins can review, hold, or reject the order before fulfillment, protecting revenue and avoiding chargebacks.

Alternate Flows
- Lower the threshold (e.g., 50) if you want to catch more suspicious activity.
- Use separate inboxes (e.g., fraud@domain.com) to keep fraud alerts from mixing with regular emails.
- Combine with Risk Score Auto-Hold to pause orders automatically while being reviewed.
Expected Outcome
- Admins receive instant email notifications whenever a high-risk order (70+ score or your chosen value) is placed.
- Store owners can act quickly to cancel or verify orders before shipping, reducing fraud losses and chargeback risks.
