How to Add and Manage Additional Checkout Fields

With version 3.8.3, the plugin allows you to add customisable checkout fields—including Text, Email, Textarea, Checkbox, and Select to capture specific information from customers during WooCommerce checkout for digital products.


  • Click on Add New Field:

Configure the field:

  • Field Label – This is what your customers will see.
  • Field Name – Slug of the field
  • Type – Choose from Text, Email, Textarea, Checkbox, or Select.
  • Placeholder Text – Optional.
  • Required – Make the field mandatory if needed.
  • Display in Emails – Enable this option to include the field value in order notification emails.
  • Display on Order Details Page – Enable this option to show the field value on the order details.

Drag-and-Drop Sorting – Easily reorder fields using a simple drag-and-drop interface for optimal checkout layout.


The newly added field will appear on the checkout page for customers to fill out during the purchase process.


Example:

Note: This feature is currently supported only with the classic checkout and shortcode-based checkout.
